Ive been a Union member for years and was seeking advancement but The whole “Request for appointment” scheme is horrible. They have you run back and forth bringing credentials, when they know they are not gonna appoint you to another position. It’s all a rouse to make it seem like they are working because every time you go there they have you sign a log and it makes them look “busy”. Went back and forth for almost two months for the lady to tell me “if anything becomes available we will let you know”. Then they make you wait 6 months to put in another request. Disheartening!!!

Asked what they did, he said fill out this form. Why fill out a form when i dont know wby they exist and what tbey do. For all i know tbey collect forms and thats it. He said hurry back with your resume and we will call you in 6-8 weeks. So why to they need the resume so quickly, lol so that they can file it quicker.
