I initially consulted with Yi and Associates many years ago for guidance on a specific tax issue. During the process, Sung and his staff exceeded my expectations on every level, they earned my trust and I have been using the company ever since. Sung and his staff are excellent communicators, they are very responsive and I have always received close personal and professional attention. Complex tax concepts are explained in a simple, comprehensive manner. The work is precise and they are extremely well informed and are diligent in staying current with the constantly changing tax laws. In addition, the rates are reasonable. I highly recommend Yi and Associates for all of your accounting needs.

We have had Sung Yi to prepare our taxes, both corporate and personal since 2014, and we are extremely happy with his services for the past five years. Sung is knowledgeable, very trustworthy, and very articulate in being able to explain the tax complexities and nuances that would otherwise be difficult for an average person to understand. Through bookkeeping, filing taxes, he also plans our finance for the long term. He is a man with high integrity and professionalism. We cannot say enough positive words for the pleasure and satisfactions of having him as our CPA. We HIGHLY recommend him and his services.

I was single when I first met Yi & Company to file tax. I introduce Sung to my boyfriend that time. Then, we got married and we continue asking Sung to file our joint tax every year. Sung is a very organized and intelligent CPA. Thank you for your hard work this year as well. We will see you next year!

I'm a small business owner and before I was referred to Sung I tried two other CPAs but neither was very helpful. Sung is different in the way that he explains everything clearly and makes sure you understand your tax return. Understanding my taxes allows me to strategize for the following years which Sung also advises me on. It has been two years now and switching CPAs is out of question, I don't think I can find one who cares more than Sung does.Update:I have been with Yi & Company for a few years now. I still remember how difficult it was to find competent and trustworthy CPAs who really care about your taxes as much as the individual filing them. I'm always taken care and their service is designed to make it easy for anyone. You don't even have to go to their office if you have a busy schedule. As long as you have a laptop you file your taxes and make your payments all from the comfort of your own home. I highly recommend Yi & Company to anyone who travels a lot or even resides outside the US during filing season. You wont be disappointed and will most likely fine anyone better CPAs anyway.

I have been audited by the IRS in my younger years due to an extremely unscrupulous accountant I had when I was in my early 20s. $40,000 in taxes owed later and surviving the personal hell of going through an audit has made me extremely selective when choosing an accountant. I needed someone responsible, honest, and knowledgeable. I needed someone who would tackle my somewhat complicated returns (1120s/Schedule C) and factor in all of my write offs exactly to the T, so that I could feel confident in knowing that if the IRS came a knockin’ again, I’d be ready. I have literally become obsessive with record keeping and I needed someone patient enough to wade through my stacks of paperwork and find me every last deduction. I found Sung last year and will not trust anyone with my accounting needs ever again. He is patient, knows everything there is to know, and takes the time to explain to you in a way that makes sense. He advises on how to best set your business up for the future given the nature, size and scope of your business, and goes above and beyond just preparing your taxes. I work in finance and have seen so many sloppy returns done, but with Sung, I never had to worry. I am so thankful to have found him and will continue to use him for all of my businesses now and in the future.

We have been working with Sung for several years and highly recommend him for so many reasons. First of all, Sung has a high sense of integrity. He is extremely trustworthy and provides good ethical advice. Secondly, Sung is very smart and knowledgeable both as a CPA but also in related fields. Thirdly, Sung works hard for you and takes the extra time to really understand your situation and what would be the best course of action. He does his homework and gets a full grasp of all the variables involved. We have been very fortunate to have worked with Sung. We had a complex real estate situation and know that Sung is the reason that everything worked out well. Lastly, Sung is personable and cares for his clients.

He is very reliable and does all the heavy lifting. He gives us sound advice and is readily available to answer all of our questions and address any concerns we may have. This is our fifth tax year going to Yi & Co. to do our taxes and we will definitely continue to use them for our financial needs. I had been going through CPAs year after year, never finding one I could trust, but that all ended with Sung. Not only is he trust worthy, but he was able to maximize our return. He truly knows what he is doing and knows the ins and outs of the tax industry. He is very patient and doesn't just want to get you in and out of the office. He will thoroughly explain your tax documentation and answer any questions you might have. Like others have stated here, he wants to make sure you really understand it. My wife and I have hectic schedules, which makes it kind of hard to got to their office, but that is not a problem with Sung. He set up a system where we can upload our documents securely to his server, he reviews them and sets up the tax return, sends them back to us securely and does a web conference to go over the entire return and see if we have any questions. Sung really goes that extra mile for his customers. I definitely recommend Sung and Yi & Co. not only to friends and family, but to anyone in need of a diligent, professional, and trustworthy CPA.
