I had made an appointment being a 1st time customer and on the phone the receptionist. Being a new 1st time client, the 1st half hour was free. I thought, great! I had just moved from Ohio and had a great accounting company I was working with for 15years so I was looking to stay on that route here as well. I had sat down with Ashley, who was very nice, but their system was acting up and she couldn't pull up certain codes for Ohio. Thought that was kind of unprofessional...was this the 1st time they worked with someone from out of state? Red flag. I was there for only 30minutes and she couldn't give me my exact tax return number because of the code issue so they were going to get back to me in a few days. But, when they did, they were trying to charge me $265 for the tax "service" fee that I was told was going to be FREE the 1st half hour. Also, my final (total) tax return was less than $500... They were trying to charge me half my tax return and lied about the 1st 30minutes free!!! Furious!!! And the couldn't even give me an explanation on why....I was getting back $1200 plus and my accountant was only charging me $100.Seems to be a little disconnect with Accounting Specialist and their communications.DO NOT GO THERE!!!
