Overall Feedback:
I do not recommend this company. When cancelling, I checked the box on Anchors Termination letter to prepare, file and pay our payroll taxes they collected weekly over the 3 months. Taxes were due for 2nd quarter by 7/30/2019. We cancelled at the end of quarter 2 (June). While on vacation, 7/31/2019 we received a deposit in the company bank account from Anchor for part of the amount of taxes due on 7/30/2019. Anchor paid Fed and State but did not file or pay the following taxes:Federal UnemploymentNJ Disability EmployerNJ Disability Employee NJ Family Leave NJ State UI Employer NJ State UI Employee NJ Workforce Employee NJ Workforce Employer I take this type of action as unprofessional. No emails, no notice for reimbursement. No Quarterly reports filed or available for taxes paid on their non-user-friendly site for Quarter 2. We switched back to ADP after being with Anchor for 3 quarters. ADP can offer cheaper payroll costs, just ask for the simple version of ADP run, cheaper than Anchor and more support for your employees. ADP allows payroll to be run on payday. Anchor requires 2 days before, by 4PM. With Anchor, If you need to run payroll 1 day before payday, companies are required to supply bank account balance. We are a larger business, 1 day prior was offered with Anchor to run payroll. Smaller companies may not be allowed this option. Employees are all very nice at Anchor and helpful, just to small of a payroll company for us.
