What I remember about my experience with the public defender's office is...upon time for my son's trial, I was asked to bring clothes and shoes...brought them to the office, the day of trial my son's belt was missing and so was his brand new shoes..so on his feet at trial they gave him shoes that didn't even fit his feet..at the end of the trial they gave me his clothes only to call me the next day for their shoes back that they allowed my son to wear...the shoes looked like they came from payless, mind you, I never received the 70.00 pair of shoes that I had just purchased for my son...I want to say, how hard is it to keep these people's items together...their family trusts YOU, THE PUBLIC DEFENDERS office with their personal belongings..

The worst service ever. Bert Driggers has sent numerous letters to see Mrs tolley I've gone up there myself and said something, gave her letters and called and 6 months later still nothing. No phone calls or anything. He has stuff to tell her about the case and she refuses to get ahold of him.

My life was turned upside down last September over a mess. The ladies in this office have done everything to help me though this difficult time. The attorney I was appointed has been the BEST...! All you have to do is make sure you get your paperwork straight and get it submitted...They will help you

The worst service ever !!! I spoke with 3 diffrent woman and they were all rude and hung up i will be putting a ad in the post and couriers new paper to have your business shut down !

I called to arrange a meeting for services for my niece. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. After informing her that my mother was hard of hearing and had asked me to call in her behalf, the woman became hostile, refusing to speak with me, even with verbal permission. It's pretty sad that this office makes no accommodation for someone who has a disability.
