Not worth the time. Not worth the money. I had a straight forward tax situation for 3 businesses and a personal tax return. The return for two of the business were a little more in depth than the others but by no means difficult. I provided her all information and simply put she made mistakes throughout the returns. Based on her “work” she initially did she claimed I had a tax burner of $22k. After looking through the tax return I realized she had made an error. She creates 2 K-1s for the same company and used the incorrect one. After pointing this out she then had to file an ammended tax return, which brought my tax liability down to $8k. The ammended tax return was filed and the $8k was paid. On June 1 I received a letter from the IRS stating that I had overpaid my taxes and that I would be getting a $30k refund!!! I have never been so elated and angered at the same time. After looking back through the emails and discussing the issue with her I showed her where I had communicated to her the estimated tax payments I had already made. She hung up on me and would not return my phone calls. I absolutely would not recommend her to anyone.

My wife and I have been using Beth Phillips as our CPA since 2012. I have to say, their process is pretty good. I think, we've only set foot in their office twice. Everything is done in the convenience of your home. All you really need is scanner to put everything into a PDF, and their portal is so convenient and easy to use. All of the questions that I have is done through emails (or calling). Both phone/email customer service is good. Keep in mind though that this all happens through tax season, so I understand if the emails does not get answered immediately. I never had to resend the same email twice. The price is reasonable. As a business owner, I'm trying to reduce cost, and they are willing to work me with on that as well. For other #daytraders out there, this place truly understand how to handle trade statements. I interviewed 10 other CPA's and whether they knew how to handle these documents. 99.99% of the 10 did not know what I was talking about, which made me uncomfortable on how my taxes will be handled.
