I've been coming to Blaine Service & Supply for over 20 years. When we lived in the city, I bought replacement cranks for jalousie windows and locks for double hung windows.I have casement windows now and three of the locks were broken. (It's a terrible design but it is what it is.) I removed one of the broken locks and went to Blaine's and of course they had replacements in stock. I bought three more as back-ups. I had been considering replacing our bay window due to the drafts but after installing the new locks, they seal up just fine now. I figured I saved thousands by installing the new locks.Blaine is a small family business but when it comes to window and door parts and accessories they have a HUGE inventory. My suggestion is to be patient with them. They may take a while to get back to you but they probably have a solution to your problem. There aren't many places in the Chicago area that have the inventory that Blaine's has.
