I trusted Clay to do my taxes and prepare my bookkeeping. This year I had some changes in my personal life and in my business which required an alternative tax filing than in previous years. I instructed Clay to submit my taxes with the information I had provided to him. He refused to do so and instead gave my personal tax information to a third party which was used against me in court. He gave this information to a friend of his that was trying to get additional information about me to use in court. Very unethical and very unprofessional. I terminated my business with him and have reported him to the appropriate authorities in hopes that his ability to continue doing taxes for others will be terminated. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.
