If you are unemployed, do NOT tell them ANYTHING about your life or your job search. They WILL use any information you provide to get your benefits denied. I mentioned visiting family out of state over the Christmas holiday and they actually went into the system and made sure I didn't get benefits for that week, even though I continued my search, applied to numerous positions, and had a phone interview that week. These people are not there to help you. They are there to reduce UI expenditures at any cost.Merry Christmas, Mr. Scrooge!
