For 2 years, Katherine was my investment account manager and although she was learning this role, she was consistently helpful and responsive. In January, I had a question and when I rang to talk with her, I was told she'd left the firm in the fall. There was no notification to customers of this. Carol is the only other person in her firm who handles wealth management investments and she's a busy person. She'd get back to me, but not with the same timing as Katherine. I decided to move my accounts to another firm where I felt I could develop a long term relationship, but before doing so I asked Laura, the admin asst. if there were any fees to do so. I asked twice, two different times. She responded "no" both times. I moved my IRA's. There was a fee of $250. I asked that this money be refunded and after waiting and following up for 2 weeks, I was told "it's not allowed". I was so excited when I found this firm because of the professionalism demonstrated at the time. Disappointed it didn't continue. Buyer beware, read the fine print and ask all the questions you know to ask.
