They seem to be a little disorganized. After my case was closed staff members still kept emailing me even though my employer cleared me for hiring.

This company is a joke.This company is supposed to be a background screening company correct? Haha! Wow.I was in the hiring process for a company and Certiphi was supposed to be doing the background check. These people could not even read my resume correctly. They thought I went to a totally different school. They could not verify my employment for the company I have spent the last five years with. The company abruptly closed down and Certiphi was trying to call the company over and over again. Finally they asked me for information and I told them they were not going to reach my company directly, as it shut down and onky a few specific employees were there winding down operations. In lieu of that, I WAS the one who had to forward over my W2s for the entire time I worked at my company.Since they kept getting the wrong information for my schooling, I had to send my diploma from ten years ago, I had to send all cerifications over and more documents as well. I basically did all their work for them. After I had given all the information over to them, then they said they couldn’t verify a certificate I am working on (yes, I am WORKING ON it now and almost done - so no, you can’t verify what I haven’t completed yet). These people were so aggravating and unprofessional.I really hope these guys aren’t in charge for the background checks for firearm purchase. 😳

This place is the worst ever didn’t get a job because of them, they take FOREVER and are completely unprofessional and not a helpful source! Ummmm class action lawsuit?? Sounds like a lot of people got screwed over because of them

Absolutely the most frustrating experience for a background check . Most incompetent company. Asking for information I've provided several times via email and still requesting I send documents in. Called to explain the issue and talk to the only helpful person I've been in contact with for him to tell me I'm not sure why you're still receiving emails this information is in the system.??? Also asked me several times to provide them with the name I used when graduating from a program in which the school no longer exists. Had to send them a copy of a diploma from seven years ago. Ridiculous. Can't say HORRIBLE enough.
