In 2016 I purchased a company that was using Christensen Nichols to do their payroll and accounting. I was excited to work with them and see what they had to offer. I found myself disappointed on multiple occasions. Everything is overpriced, and I found myself getting charged for everything. I had an employee who wanted to make a change to their W-4, and they charged me. I was paying simply to have customer service. I never once indicated to them that I wanted them to do my W-2's for my employees, but because I had my credit card on file, I was charged $420. I have gone to a new payroll company that charges me 40% less, is incredibly responsive, happy to help me, and has my best interest in mind, not their bank account. As a business owner, I would not recommend using them.
