Never try to make a phone call, I’m on phone and has been ringing for 65mins and they supposed to be open by 8am on Mondays. 💆 ♀️

The building department is awful. I work with cities, towns,and villages across the greater Chicagoland area and these people are the worst. Prepare to be asked for arbitrary things for permit applications and don’t be surprised if they don’t have a permit they told you was already ready. The apathy displayed by the workers in the building department is deplorable. I will update with names after my next visit.

This place can be a hit or miss when it comes to being helped and employee's professionalism. I have found that if I try my hardest to be positive, submissive and compliant when going to the Town Hall, my overall experience usually turns out better/and the staff can be more willing to help. But, that doesn't work every time of course....
