STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I went here the first year my spouse and I started a business 3 years ago. First of all, they did not keep track of the information I would send them which resulted in approximately 7 identical e-mails that I had to send with information about my vehicle. Very frustrating; seriously turbo-tax has been way easier than dealing with them even though I filed in 6 different states last year. Secondly, they grossly overcharged me. They gave me an estimate and by the time they finished my taxes it was over double!! When I told a friend how I had been overcharged she told me she had the exact same thing happen to her at this place!!! She said she had called them to dispute the charges but they then charged her for calling them at an obscene rate and forced her to pay everything. I had already seen how they charged an hourly rate for even a 15 minute phone call so I just wanted to be done with them. Now it is three years later and I am getting out my previous years tax info as I am about to start a second business and going to try again with hiring a tax professional, but I notice my reported expenses seem very low on the tax forms Cook and Company prepared. It turns out they reported my schedule C business deduction $4,000 short!!!! So not only did I have to pay too much for terrible service but I also paid extra on my taxes! Never go here and make sure no one you know ever has to deal with this awful place.
