I would give zero stars if I could. This is one of the most annoying tax places I have been too. First, I was going to Crystal's home, where she had her children running around and interrupting me. I didn't think much of it until they were continually disrupting and screaming. I thought good thing my taxes were very simple, single, one job, homeowner, so details were not missed. The next year it was at her office, which I was relieved to see that there were no children running around interfering with a service I was paying for, but when I had a question after tax season, no one called back. It’s like they close the doors and close for the year, until next tax season. It quickly ramped up to this year, where I started receiving long email reminders with a checklist of what I needed to do before my tax appointment. This four-page email was chalked full of errors and frankly contradicted itself. If they are a detail oriented company, which I would think so (taxes, eh?) does someone proofread emails before they are sent in mass? After I completed the checklist, mind you, it took over an hour to finish, I asked myself, shouldn’t this be something the tax preparer does? Isn’t this what I pay them for? I tried to call the office, to ask them about the email, since it was unclear, but no answer, SURPRISE! It gets almost comical at this point. I made my tax appointment through the online portal, but then I received 3 phone calls from the office asking if I wanted to make an appointment. It seems like the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. It took over a year for me to get a hold of someone to amend my taxes from 2017. I had to remind the tax preparer over 3 times during my tax appointment this year to amend my taxes from last year. She wanted to take my original amended document, I said “no, but you can take a copy of it” Seriously, I feel like I must bird dog them to get anything completed. I will never go back.
