I went to this firm for 15 years. I was always satisfied with their services. Over the past 5 years, their service has declined. Three years ago, our associate completely lost our paperwork. We were then passed to Mark Pomerantz, who is David's son. He prepared our return that year, although the fees rose rapidly year after year. Then, last year we tried to E file. We were instructed to fax them a signed consent form, which we did. The firm lost that form somewhere and failed to notify us. The April 15 deadline came and went, and we were under the impression that our return was finished. When no refund showed up after several weeks, we contacted them. They told us that they had never filed our return because of the missing E file consent! They allowed us to be late in filing without even trying to let us know! This is the story of how you lose a 15 year client. We will never go back.
