Poor communication. Did not disclose the $500 minimum commission / "administration cost" verbally or in our contract, which if we would have known about we could've shopped around. After a fire burned the house during the sale... still charged the $500 instead of the regular 6% on the sale price, which dropped to $4000 from $16,000 due to said fire... much less after we had to pay all the closing costs....felt like they took advantage of our misfortune. They could have chosen to be empathetic about the drastic change in price knowing we would not get jack from the sale and and if your a veteran... find a realtor well versed with all things that involve Veterans and real estate. This company and the city of port huron took advantage of me (a disabled vet) and my family... ethically and possibly legally wrong.... checking into that...
