Garry is an Enrolled Agent tax practitioner, which means that he is empowered by the U.S. Department of the treasury to represent taxpayers before all examination, collection, and appeals of the Internal Revenue Service. In addition to his technical level of expertise in taxation he was very personable; however, his rate for a simple one document only tax filling was $400, which would have been reasonable had I had more of a complex filling. In other words the price is justifiable for the small buisness owner or the self employed who have logs of receipts to report and claim. Had the whopping $400 been disclosed during our introduction I would have immediately left and perhaps returned in a few years when I had more to report and file than one simple w-9 form. I do recommend Garry’s expertise for those looking for more detailed help in filling this year’s tax return given the new tax code changes.
