Client Review on Elwood Staffing

The company Elwood itself is a great company but the NKC office is far from it. I accepted a position there taking a substantial decrease in pay to have the opportunity to learn more about the industry and expressed from day one my intentions. I did everything I was told and learned as fast as possible management changed and the office manager brought in one of her friends and put her above me and still wanted me to help train her. The office manager Sophia began to not like me once this was brought to light. She pushed me to take PTO and then when I used it she fired me. They bad talk all of our associates and wouldn’t even interview anyone that came in and had a felony conviction. When I applied for unemployment she disputed it and then used the system being down against me when I took the time off and said I didn’t formally put it in the system when she assured me she would take care of it. Resulting of a denial. I’m going to appeal it to the fullest and have hired counsel to bring this location and all of its dirt to light. Thank the Lord I have counsel to represent me without being paid. They think it’s okay to try and ruin people’s lives. Not mine as they soon shall see. Again Elwood as a whole is a great company but the NKC office are snakes they are 2 face pretend to be your friends all while snaking you from behind. I would choose a different location if your considering using Elwood.
