It is an industry standard for job recruiters to discreetly find their candidates new employment without interfering with their current employment. This does not seem to be a concern for ERG, as a recruiter cold called my current employers main office stating who he works for and that he wanted to speak with me. This is a completely unacceptable practice, and when I spoke with his superviser to address this, I was startled to hear that she showed no regard for their conspicuous and potentially job-threatening actions saying it was "common practice" to call someone's current employer in order to contact them about alternate employment.
