Pretty lousy Italian food. Great staff. Sauce tasted like ketchup. Rib meat torte is a mistake not to serve bbq sauce with... Bad mixture. Not worth going out of your way.

Charming Italian restaurant in the historic little town of Long Grove. This is one of my mother's favorite places. Now I don't eat a lot of Italian food because it's usually not too conducive to staying thin but when I go, I always get the eggplant parmesan and their's is very good. When dining at E & L's be sure to budget some time to ambling around Long Grove. The ambiance is fabulous.

We have eaten hee 3 times now and each visit has been delicious. We vote it the number ne italuan restaurant in long grove, let alone all of chicago. The staff is attentive, food is decently priced, portions are great, good drinks, environment casual to romantic, and FOOD IS TO DESIRE. You will definately go back like we always do. LOVE IT
