In 2013 ESG Accounting in Fayetteville, GA convinced me to hire them as my "accountants." Despite having my taxes in plenty of time, they wanted to file an extension so that they could "review them further." Late in that same year I learned from the IRS they never filed the extension and I was fined about $800. ESG's employee just kept saying "that's not correct because we filed the extension." After no results and no true answers, I terminated my agreement with ESG Accounting. Flash forward to 2018 and the State of Georgia informed me that ESG Accounting NEVER filed my state taxes at all. Again, I was hit with about $780 in fines. I notified ESG of this and their response was, "those employees don't work here anymore." I have asked for reimbursement from them. Now ESG refuses to respond to me since I have notified them of their mistake—possibly malfeasance. Thankfully I have all my old emails documenting everything so that I can prove the poor "service" they provided me. The public needs to know this.
