My son and I built a computer from scratch and of course couldn’t get it working and almost burned up the CPU!!! We left our computer with James and he fixed it in under 2 hours!!!! He was very polite, knowledgeable and got it working perfectly and looking good!!! I will definitely go back when necessary

I've been in business most of my life. I'm a former Commissioner and Trustee for a Village in Suffolk County. Etopia Technologies has been doing IT and security work for me and for the municipality I was associated with for many years. The knowledge, professionalism and expertise of the staff beginning with Jason the owner and including James and Art, is second to none. They have the answer and find the solution. To start off, I know nothing about computers and when others start using computer language, I go blank. In my defense, I am over 60 and was never into technology. I went in with my laptop because the font was "fuzzy" and sort of missing in spots. It also took forever to load a page and kept telling me I wasn't connected to the internet but my TV and cell phone were.James told me he would look at it and let me know what the problem was. While I can't accurately explain the problem, I needed my Windows 10 to be reinstalled, which he did for an excellent price. It worked perfectly but I couldn't find that white bar for searching (see what I mean by my non-computer skills?) Also, apparently I put some music I bought from Amazon in a zip file (no idea how that all happened) and couldn't get it into my Windows Media player. I brought the laptop in and Art helped me. He knew the white bar I was describing and put it on my task bar. Art then figured out why my music wasn't going into the Media player (no, I can't explain that reason either) and showed me how to transfer it in a few easy steps. I highly recommend Etopia Technologies, especially if you are computer challenged, as I am.
