The absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of having to work with. They failed my background check even though I have passed vigorous Homeland Security background checks. The reason is because they don't even search based off of your social security number; they strictly go based off of name and DOB. Horrific customer service; their accents are so heavy and they speak so quickly that it's nearly impossible to understand them. I've contacted them through phone, email and twitter. I don't even now if my dispute is even being worked on. A customer service rep told me to email a picture of my drivers licence and then communications stopped. It's very sad that companies choose to work with them for background checks. They are being robbed because this company produces nothing of value.

Worst customer service, telling me three different stories in one day. Can not even complete a simple background check. asking me to run around city to do three fingerprints.

They can't even complete a simple background check without issues. I opened a dispute ticket and sent them verification of my identity, and they still will not clear my background check.

I wish that I could put zero stars. First Advantage is INCOMPETENT and has foreign employees. Instead of clearing a vacated conviction they ADDED a bogus conviction, closed the case and are DEMANDING that I give them ANOTHER 30 days! First Advantage is rude and cannot spell "Clue" if I spot them the vowels, consonants and brought in Vanna White to touch the letters. Any company that hires First Advantage is foolish!

They generate misinformation on your credit report then it takes them forever to send the updated information to the rental company . This is how people get black balled.

I dont understand why I have to provide the company that is supposed to be doing background checks with information they should be able to have easy access to. I've had to provide them two W2's and check stubs from 2 different jobs that I had worked for. Every time I call someone they say the same thing. That I have to provide the documents because they couldn't reach out to the employer. I have to provide my high school diploma.

Their IT system doesn't work to do the most basic things. Customer service can't help you either. If there's a glitch, you can't proceed. Sort of a nightmare. Any government or private organization looking to hire a firm to help with background checks should look elsewhere--your stakeholders will hate you for choosing this firm! They could not be worse. Literally, choose any firm but these guys! My sympathies for anyone who is currently stuck with using them. I understand that First Advantage is owned by Symphony Technology Group. All of the owners and executives of these firms should be ashamed of themselves. (Your company is the worst!)
