Gary is very knowledgeable when it comes to ROBS 401(k) business set-ups, but communication is extremely difficult. I had an initial consultation phone call with him and things looked good. He said that he could help me with my 2017 taxes and I thought I had found my new accountant. Then I followed up with literally a dozen emails to both of his email addresses and never got a response back. Thankfully, I caught on to these issues before signing any agreements with Mr. Bode.

We had an extremely bad and harrowing experience using Mr, Bode as our CPA during the 2017 tax season, the impacts of which we are still dealing with at this time. We found him to be ill prepared, unresponsive, inattentive and largely incompetent.It is our advice to avoid Mr. Bode as your tax preparer at all costs.

Highly overpriced. Be prepared to grab your ankles. Gary is going to have his way with you - at your expense of course, and he's going to charge you for it. Steer clear unless you want him to scrape the bottom of your bank account.

Horrible experience. Over priced. Missed two credit and refunds if I did not remind him. IRS asked for missing info and incorrectly filled documents for both my 2013 and 2014 taxes (some of these errors were in the tax the issue that he is supposedly expert at. I had to correct them myself even though it was Gary (or his no-clue assistant) fault because when I asked him for help he said I need to pau him another $150! After charging more than $600 for each year. Not worth the money.
