As other reviews some of the employees do care and spend time explaining what is going on with the patient and assisting in care. However, in our experience the patient did not get pain meds until we showed up and had to ask for them. When someone is nearing the end of their life having to ask constantly to take away the pain is the last thing they need. You most likely will not get a returned call when told that someone will call with information on the patient. Last night the patient next to us was choking and finally was able to vomit. I had to go grab someone and let them know. That person came and just watched the gentleman throw up. She never got a trash can or anything for him to get sick in. She finally went and got another person who also stood and watched. IT is a shame that these people work in places like this. If you are not dedicated to aiding in patient care this is certainly not the place you should be working. When we were leaving we ran into a man that had horrible things to say about the care his mother was getting. The facility is newer so it looks nice but I have found that the caregivers and not doing a good job. Please read some reviews before choosing this place.
