The facility overall is a disaster . There is about 40% of the staff that works hard and are dedicated. If you expect to see a PA or a doctor keep dreaming. I had an infection after surgery and had to wait 3 days to see anyone. Don't press your call button and expect any one to respond for several hours. It was impossible to get anyone to respond to requests for medication, drinks, and towels , wash clothes to clean yourself up. At night I would have to get up and track down my pain medication and sleeping pills. I was constantly told well the pain meds are only if you ask.... duh why am I standing here trying to get pain pills.The main part of a diet to aid healing is protein based meals. I could go 2-3 days with eggs as the only protein in my diet. I had to get mygsmily to bring protein to aid in healing.There were several aides and nurses who I hadTo request them not be assigned to my room.That request was honored one time than I had to remind them everyday. It was so exhausting trying to heal , manage my care, chase down meds, food. I wasn't suppose to take PT or OT( Surgeons orders)but day one I was taking PT and OT. I never saw an actual Physical Therapist only assistants.. The assistants were dedicated and kind but only followed orders from a third party not on site.If you truly love your family member either plan on being there everyday or find any where else to send them.
