I don't know where they found this company and, more importantly, why they gave them a contract. I was very proactive when I was switched to this company, I called and talked with them to make sure they had all the information they needed so there would be no interruption in paychecks being issued and to insure that paychecks would be issued correctly. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be at all concerned. They insist that we use their new app, but don't enter the information into their system that is necessary for the app the work. I and my caregiver have both been treated with disrespect and have been given conflicting information. I know I've been lied to; I've been mis-informed; I've spent hours on hold; I've left messages that don't get returned. Supervisors are never available. I've been told to call after submitting payroll through the app, because the information doesn't always go through. I guess it gets lost somewhere in cyberspace. Almost a week ago, I was assured that they would get the missing information entered. It's still not done. We have a deadline for submitting time sheets. We can't do it using an app that does not work. They will not give us an alternate way to submit timesheets. The facts indicate that they could care less whether or not people get paid. If they don't issue paychecks correctly, and on time, I risk losing the best caregiver I have ever had. GT Independence is not doing what they are being paid to do for me. They need to step up their game and start doing the job they were hired to do.
