Client Review on Greenholtz Guzzo & Castillo LLP

Feedback:

Unfortunately, this man is a total crook. In October I retained (a flat fee) him for a traffic matter, a speeding ticket (77/55) because I couldn’t attend court in person myself, and in case the lawyer needed to represent me more than once. In short, he came to court the original time with me, and never returned for other court dates. He did have a person working under him go to the court house 20 minutes before their time was up to give my proof of insurance, inspection, and plate light (these matters had proper documentation and were expected to be dismissed) when the other person put me on for a trial, completely against my wishes, and then demanded more money from me. Being that I couldn’t believe that I was being robbed, I gave them my card number on the condition that they would have the lawyer himself who never returned my calls (October-December) finally give me a call before I authorized the charge. Guess what - they never called me, and they charged me a couple of hundreds. I was able to dispute this with my card company, but if you are thinking about using this lawyers office for anything, don’t waste your money and time. I only hired this man because he assured me he was a good, trustworthy Jewish man, and my mother would disagree. Ronald Zimmer is a con-artist scammer, and his staff member Anita facilitated a good majority of my frustration, being that she literally NEVER returns calls when she says she will, so believe me it took time before I could finally determine that they were in fact avoiding me; called *67 and they started answering as fast as any law office does. The staff member I mentioned genuinely acted in an unprofessional, classless and nasty manner during all conversations, including the very first. Not worth the hassle, use anyone else, I wish there was more written here before I used this lawyer, now I have points on my license and am facing suspension, despite having provided all proof and paid a total $700 for a simple speeding ticket. Wish I took off instead, I would have done better pro se. Ron Zimmer is an awful lawyer, and still has not addressed the situation, believe me I asked Anita herself for my money back many times before I decided this commentary was deserving. Bad lawyer, -5 stars.
