I have done taxes with this guy for past 2 years and this is was last. Every year I find out that I have a "new" rate to do my taxes with him. First year he charged me $300 for my taxes, next year it was $400 and now I find out that to do my taxes with him this year he will charge me $500. That is a 80% increase in less than 2 years. And how to do I find out what the new rate is that I have to pay? I have to ask him myself every single year before doing the taxes ... no letter, no email nothing. I have to initiate the rate question myself. Its like he is pulling the number of out thin air every time. I told him that this is unacceptable and his response was that oh I have to pay for my software, give raises to my employees .... and this exact quote "I actually been sinning up new customers for $300 personal and $450 business. I wish you the best of luck"Wow, talk about arrogance. He would rather loose a customer than keep one. Good luck working with this guy. Every year you will pay a new rate and he will only tell you "after" he has prepared your taxes and will hold your taxes as ransom and not file till you pay him.
