This business was the best until the original owner Lenette Hood retired. Lenette Hood was personally doing my taxes since before 2005, with no errors. I hesitantly allow one of the new preparers (John) to prepare our taxes in 2017, it was so evident that he did not know what he was doing, so the owner ask if she could have one of her suppose to be seasoned preparer from the other office come in to check over and redo the paperwork. Long story short he also screwed up, and I paid 1097 back in federal taxes. Here comes the kicker. Spring forward to 2019 we found out That Margie Pfaffenbichler an original preparer from the beginning of Hood Taxes was still working there. I address my concerns about the 2017 taxes and show her my evidence. Margie did an amended 2017 taxes and sure enough the Federal government owes me 1000, and the state owes me a couple of dollars also. I just mailed both taxes off today. Margie also prepared our 2018 returns, she explained everything clearly. We give Margie 5 stars. If you utilized this company I strongly advise that you use Margie, when she retires I will look elsewhere
