Sonia called me regarding a new position with a great firm. I took the interview and ended up getting hired. The firm is amazing and I am happy I made the move. However, the process with Howroyd leading up to the interview and even after getting hired was subpar. Sonia wasn't really accessible. I had to call and text her a few times to get a response. The day before my interview I had to call her so that I could squeeze out any information I could to prep for the interview. The day of the interview she did not call or text me to say good luck. Although, she made sure to call me after the interview to see how things went. I understand that recruiters get paid for placement but with her it seemed like that was the only objective. When I got the job, she did not take me out to lunch nor did she call me on my first day to wish me good luck. I had to contact her my first week saying the new job was going well. She said she attempted to text me my first day but it didn't go through. I'm grateful that I got hired with an amazing firm but Howroyd really needs to train their recruiters a little better than that. It's always about the money but the client isn't supposed to feel like they are just a dollar sign.
