I was hired for an internal staffing specialist position in June of this month . After 2 weeks of being hired , my boss Jessica told me my “ physical appearance was not fit enough to be at the office “ she told me your edges need to be crisp “ and how she use to be a cosmetologist and she knows how hair should look ! Even brung up how she has black Friends and she knows how our hair texture is. She recommended me make up and to put weave in my hair , I began to get emotional and the whole time My boss had a smirk on her face. After being told I wasn’t fit she told me I would be moving to the west branch ! Later the same day she texted me I would be going out to the East branch instead of the West ! I was being sent to 2 different locations a day . 1 job helping with orientations at a warehouse in Groveport from 6:15-11:15am then the Brice rd branch to finish out my day. After about 3 weeks Of driving back and forth , I was given a new manager ( Jessica’s boss ) . She was very unprofessional and was very mean ! I came to work every single day on time and I staffed a lot of people ! In June I told my manager ( Jessica ) I would be going on vacation with my family she agreed and said it was okay , so when I tried talking to my new manager ( Melissa ) about the arrangements she agreed as well , twice in person and one in email ! While I was on vacation she asked me when I was coming back and I told her and also showed her the email from our previous conversation talking about the trip , never received a text back . The day I return to work from vacation, she calls me while im with an employee and tells me “ Hey Joy I need you to pack up your things and go home , your terminated “ I asked her why and she says “ Idk Joy I just don’t know , I don’t think your appearance is fit enough for my branch , I need you to pack your things and leave the premises immediately or we’ll call the police “. My experience at Iforce was not fun and they have very poor management! I tried to talk to my managers boss but he never returned any of my calls . If your looking for a job that is unprofessional and always has revolving doors this is the place for you ! Only good thing is that people are depending on you to help them find employment, it was very satisfaction good seeing smiles on people’s face that I was able to find employment for ! I loved to see employees happy and I loved being able to help staff people ! But the management is horrible !
