Others have mentioned the lack of communication as a fail point with this organization, and that's been my experience with them so far as well. I've applied to two positions with them in the last week (I am a highly-qualified professional on career track with 20+ years of experience, so perhaps a little overqualified, but regardless) and have heard nothing. Even called to follow up, no response. They seem to have a number of positions to fill, but I'm not convinced this is an agency for seasoned professionals. This review will be updated if the situation develops in another direction.

J.Kent offers a wide range of services to both employers looking to hire for short term assignments, to employees looking for work to provide some or additional income. I have personally done work for J.Kent, and the staff at the company is conscientious and works hard to fill whatever the need is. I have worked multiple assignments with J.Kent, and I have found the diversity of work assignments and the people whom I have worked with to be exciting and enjoyable. I heard about J.Kent from somebody who used to work through it, and who later encouraged her company to bring on J.Kent staffers. I am happy to recommend them!

Being new to Denver, I needed to find work and J Kent Staffing made the process quick, easy and pleasant; matching me with a wonderful position that I anticipate will be a long term and fruitful career for me. I couldn’t be happier with the support from the staff, especially Colleen! She was a joy to work with and gave me great feedback to help prepare me for the interview. She also was genuinely interested in placing me in a position that included the pay, pace and culture I was looking for! I relocated to Denver and met with Karen at J Kent. I wasn't expecting much, but during our initial conversation I received great advice and recommendations for me regarding my goals, improving my resume, and communicating what I want in a job. I followed up about a week later and within a few days, there was a temp job available. I was offered the opportunity and began within a day. This job turned into a permanent job at a wonderful company for me. During the entire process, J Kent was always responsive, professional, and it was clear they cared about my career goals and what was in my best interest. I have dealt with staffing agencies in the past who are not responsive and clearly have their own numbers/goals in mind - but this definitely was not the case with J Kent. If you're looking for an agency that really cares about your career goals and setting you up for success, I highly recommend connecting with J Kent Staffing!

I registered online and a few days later they had contacted me to set up an interview, and less than a week after that they matched me up with a temp-to-hire position. Everyone I interacted with at J. Kent was friendly and professional and seemed to genuinely care about helping me find a job I was happy with.
