Jack and I worked together in drafting an amicus brief in the spring of 2017. The case before the Fourth Circuit court of appeals, involved a Baltimore city ordinance which has since been struck down as violating the First Amendment. Jack interviewed women served by pro-life pregnancy centers in Baltimore targeted by the ordinance. Jack's interviews evidenced incredibly refined skills needed of trial lawyers and a depth of understanding and compassion for our "clients". He is a fine man, a talented attorney, and possesses the virtues of prudence and charity (along with many other virtues) often absent in members of the legal profession.
