This place is a JOKE! Both Laporte and Michigan City Indiana locations lie about jobs that ARE hiring and say they are not when in fact the company's are saying say Yes they are, and they do NOT return calls! Facebook is loaded with posts in groups from people complaining of the SAME issues. JMJ needs shut down!!!!!!!

Very poor service. Called left messages about a job that i no longer wanted to be at due to the smell of marijuana all over and then said that i never left messages. Do not go hear unless its a last resort!

They won't pay you on time and say it was a mistake on their part then when you have to leave work to take care of the issue they take half your check and say it was your fault. I gave you my direct deposit slip and you entered my info in the computer because I had already finished my application the day prior. Now you're saying it was MY mistake. Never work here because even if the job says you can leave to take care of it they'll tell you politely that you just walked off the job and that it's against their policy. The woman laughed at me for being upset because I can't afford to buy my kids comfortable fitting shoes. These people are extremely rude and borderline illegal so go to Elwood Staffing. They literally just pocketed $200 off of my labor because of their inability to read and enter numbers correctly. It's almost like they did this intentionally, I wouldn't be surprised if it's happened to more people. Be accused of walking off the job and they'll cut your pay to minimum wage. I was supposed to get paid for 32hrs at $13.75/hr but I only received pay at $7.25/hr for 32hrs. I was never given anything that stated my pay would be reduced for hours already worked and was never emailed the policy when I asked for it. I did not quit and had not walked off without proper notice. I work two jobs and jmj knows that but yet they say I should have handled everything on my own time when I'm working 12hr shifts for them and out-of-town with no off days.
