Client Review on Job Exchange

I found a job on Indeed and applied for it. The Job Exchange which is a temp agency and placement service called me back. She said I needed to set up an interview with her for the following week. Melody met me at a coffee shop and spent about 15 minutes with me going over my information. She said I would be a good fit for a company called Tyndale who needed 8 temps. Two days later she set up an interview with them for the following week. The point was stressed that I must come in business attire and look professional. I met with the customer service manager and his heavily tattooed and pierced team leader when looked more like she belonged in a carnival side show. Professional? No. Not at all. The whole time I felt like they looked down their nose at me as if I wasn’t gelling with them from the start. I told the owner of the temp agency (Lori) this and she said “he is always like that just hard to read.” I was told to bring multiple copies of my resume and when I offered them to Matt Conard the customer service manager he again showed such disinterest and declined to take them or even one of them. The carnival girl didn’t take one either. Lori said she was having lunch with them on Thursday and she would follow up with me on Thursday which she never did. I called her office and left her a message and also emailed her. Both went unanswered. I then called on Friday morning and Lori said she was having a meeting with them via phone today and promised she would call me by days end. Again she didn’t. She sent an email instead saying although they had positive things to say about me they don’t want me basically. I sent an email back asking what exactly the feedback was because it may help me for the future and received no response as if to say “we aren’t getting paid for you so now we don’t care”. Funny how all interest is lost on if you aren’t making them money. Sorry to disappoint you but I did nothing wrong! Kinda cowardly and very ignorant to not respond to my email asking what I did wrong for them to not take me for eVen a temp position that has EIGHT openings! Do not recommend as a placement agency unless you want your time wasted. I will share this negative review anywhere I am able to. Read the review by Lauren. Strangely accurate almost to a tee. Hmmmm
