I love my CPA! A friend of mine who lives in South Carolina recommended her CPA John B Lane to me for my tax preparation. I live in California and I'm used to paying California prices for tax preparation. John charges about half of the minimum charge of any CPA firm I've found in San Francisco. I have never had any issues using them from out of state. They have a secure system for uploading documents, the staff responds to emails and calls promptly. No need to see anyone in person. The first year they did my taxes I spoke with John, I explained my situation and he had me send my three prior years returns that I had done with online software. He found several mistakes and my returns were redone and I got about $5000 back from each year. Not bad. Since then I work with one of his associates Tina who is fabulous. Also, I like the service. Every now and then I call or email with a basic question about taxes and they always respond promptly. They don't charge for a call here and there. They are just good people who offer a fair price for good quality service. Cant' recommend them enough!
