My husband and I are very disappointed by the lack of responsibility being shown to us for mistakes they made on our 2017 tax return. We provided all of the necessary documentation for them to prepare our 2017 tax return accurately. Their work resulted in us receiving notices that we owe the IRS thousands of dollars, besides penalties as well. Jonlyn did rewrite the tax return at no charge to us and we paid the IRS the corrected tax amount. Now we have received a notice from the IRS that we owe $193.00 in interest for the loss of "time value" for the additional tax money that they were owed but wasn't paid until a year later. Jonlyn refuses to pay the $193 in interest even though it was because of their mistakes. We paid the taxes we were told to pay to IRS based upon them preparing our taxes which we paid them to do the work. We will not be having them prepare any more tax returns for us. That is a breach of trust and lack of professional responsibility.
