From a business owner perspective it is essential to have a relationship with a lawyer versed in both employment and business law. Often people think when engaging with a lawyer in the "offense" or "defense" mindset, that is not why we utilized the services of JAL. We engaged Joe as we recognize that the employment world is constantly evolving, employee benefits and retention strategies change and we need to keep our business fresh as we grow. We hired Joe in the "makes sense" mindset, I need to mitigate risk for my business and my employees, simultaneously remaining compliant in state and federal law. He was great to work with and showed us opportunities we didn't know existed, this stemmed from hiring practices down to company policy.
