I worked as a recruiter for KES for a short time. It just wasn't the right fit for me personally. I think it's a good company and the people I met there were all nice, but they were way too hawkish and were complete micro managers at the corporate level, IMO. I am now working as a 1099 recruiter and am much more happy making my own decisions and love not being "watched" all the time. They actually had a department at the corporate office that did nothing but call recruiters and staffing managers to "coach" them. I was never at the wrong end of one of those calls, but when I was in training at the corporate office in PA, I over heard these people berate people over the phone because they hadn't put out enough phone calls that week or, etc. You get what I'm saying. If an environment where every move you make or every thing you do is monitored and watched over, then this is for sure the company for you. I had never before experienced such micro micro management and hope to never again. Very "Authoritarian", Top-Down Management. Some people thrive in an environment like that, just not me.
