This was a place recommended from Work and I found out it had been bought out by another person. Thinking it would still be a good place I went to have something reviewed. So disappointed! He was all over the place when we went. When we got our stuff back it was just a drop off. No explanation of what the changes were, no follow up. When we tried calling it took him a week to follow up. When we accidentally called the canton office to let them know we needed to pick up our file they never bothered to confirm which office we had used or that they didn’t have it. Then when we did get to the right office they couldn’t find our file because they just ‘changed offices,’ extremely unprofessional. Find somewhere else to go!

I've been working with the owner of Ann Arbor CPA for over 6 years and they've always done a fantastic job. They've handled both my personal and business accounts. Any questions or concerns I've ever had were always addressed promptly, professionally, and in a friendly manner. I'd highly suggest them if you are looking for a tax and accounting services.

There is insufficient care dedicated toward the return....feels like file and move to next, without analyzing the case to get the most tax saving opportunities. Owner only cares about making money.Bottom line... I would never waste a dime there!

Very helpful and pleasant staff.My husband did our income taxes and the IRS said we owed over $3600 on 2016 taxes (got the letter from them in 2018). I took everything to AA CPA, they said I didn't owe anything and they filed papers with the IRS. Then got a letter from the IRS saying we owed $1800. AA CPA said we don't owe anything. IRS just sent another letter saying we owed $0 and they have closed our case.I will be using AA CPA for all my tax work.

I went to Ann Arbor CPA in the spring of 2018. I inquired via email and was very clear about the assistance that I needed in getting the proper forms filled out to file household employer taxes. I was told this was something that the accountant could help with. I was also told I would be billed to the 1/4 of the hour. When I came in for my meeting I was told that this is not a service they would provide and it was recommended that I try an online payroll service. That could have been told to me via email. Additionally, after I mentioned that I understood that given the familial relationship we had with our employee I did not need to pay social security or medicare taxes. The accountant was not familiar with this and had to look it up. I left at just over 15 minutes of appointment time and was charged for 30. That 15 minutes included me reiterating what I stated in my email, time for the accountant to look up information that I already knew regarding social security and medicare withholding, and then for him to tell me to hire an online payroll service. This was a wasted visit and not at all worth what I was charged.
