I was recommended to Linda's Tax Service by another tax preparation service who was booked to capacity. My initial consultation seemed to go smoothly enough, and I had a great deal of confidence that they would be able to take care of my needs with the small business venture that I was starting. However, after my initial business setup preparation was completed, I found myself without one critical piece of documentation that I was told would take up to several weeks to get from the state. After five weeks, and two separate confirmations from Linda's Tax Service that they were still waiting on this documentation, I contacted the state directly and requested a status update on it. As it turns out, that documentation was never submitted. Once I submitted it, that documentation took a mere THREE DAYS to arrive to me. This, combined with the matter of not receiving a callback despite multiple messages left to my assigned tax preparation specialist, has turned me away from Linda's Tax Service permanently. In an email I finally received from them, all of this was due to "communication errors", and it was made fairly clear that they weren't interested in actually addressing their own issues within the company. Linda's Tax Service does not possess the infrastructure to handle it's current client base, much less to add new clients to it's list.
