Janelle Corran is an evil witch. I walked out of their Locate Staffing office many years ago when they had an "ON DEMAND" division in back of the building. It worked like Labor Ready, show up early each morning (5:00 am) and "hope" to get sent out to work. Her son was in charge of that section. After showing up every day for several weeks I gained favor by proving my loyalty. After all, with the Corran clan as* kissing is everything and I started getting sent out on daily assignments. I did this for a year. Finally I thought, "I'm better than this" so I went up to the front office to talk to Mr. Mom. That's Janelles husband who everyone knows how he got his job. I asked if I could be put on a weekly ticket instead of going through this On Demand B.S.. Kelly (Mr.Mom) said no. I asked why not and he said because Janelle said so. Well that's when I knew I was finished working at Locate so I asked to speak with his plastic wife. Mr. Mom said do want to tell her that? I said certainly. Janelle came over and I informed her of my several years of service to her office. She was not moved. Then I couldn't resist and told her to her face how plastic she is. Her platinum fake colored hair, her botox filled lips, her fake and bake tan and her augmented breasts. Phoney and plastic from head to toe. Then I walked out wondering how much of that I had paid for. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS RIP OFF AGENCY!

They are very good but if you have a family emergency come up they don't like that I called and left a message early in the morning before I had to go in they call you back Tuesday when you left a message on Monday asking for a totally different person when the number is posted on the file of the person's name that they're calling they say you didn't call dang the lady I spoke with wanted to sit there and argue with me about me calling and leaving a message when I actually called the place that I was going to be showing up for and explain my situation he said call them to figure out if I should come in or not then lady says you we can't offer you any more services because you didn't show up when I called explaining what was going on the moral of the story is if you have a family member ill or URL you still have to show up no matter what these people do not care

Great people to work for! I walked in said I needed a job and I was placed within 30 minutes. They're very understanding and thoughtful people.

awful management, the owner is the worst boss I've ever had. Avoid, much better staffing firms out there. The owner would rather screw someone over and lose a small amount of money herself instead of breaking even or making a small gain. She is truly an awful person.

First year was great, staff were pleasant and greeted you daily and our pay was never late. New people came in and nothing but issues. Pay wasn't on time, had an excuse for everything and took 5 holidays from us as well as changing the hours we needed to work to get a week vacation. When I had 150 hours left until vacation, they told me since new changes were made, I lost out on 600+ hours towards vacation so now I have to wait another 4 mths. It's not right how they can do this to someone who has been there over 2 1/2 yrs. If you argue or try to prove you're right, you get wrote up that you are disrespectful and rude. It's a power control role for them knowing that there are people who really need a job and can't quit or speak up because if they do, they could lose their job!

My company was courted by Locate Staffing several times by several people, so I decided to give them a chance. The first rep that I met with was very friendly but wasn't with Locate long. The next rep was friendly too, but had little sense of urgency and poor follow through. He connected me with a great worker, though, so I was willing to look past the bumpy start. Soon I found out that this rep no longer worked at Locate, either. Recently I requested a helper for a large project and the worker never showed up. It happens, I know, and Locate certainly can't be expected to prevent this. But what they do, or don't do, in the wake of something like this is important. So I informed my new rep, via email, that this happened and I never heard back from him. After a few days had passed I still hadn't heard from anyone at Locate about this issue so I followed up with another email. Still nothing. Next, I brought Janelle, the President into the loop. She responded by telling me that I should find another staffing agency to work with because she was "concerned about my tone". Mind you, I never used any harsh or profane language, ALL CAPS (I guess this is what you do when you're yelling via email?), or anything of the sort. I was unhappy and I wanted to let them know. I certainly hope to know when my customers are unhappy with our service and assumed Locate would, too. As a business owner that deals with the public every day, occasionally we have to deal with difficult customers. Customers that aim to deliver the very best product in their field and expect the same from their business partners and employees. I can't help but wonder if Locate treats their larger clients this way. I think we all know the answer to that. My advice is to look elsewhere for your staffing solutions.
