This company is a sham, in 2016 I sought advice from them about my mother's taxes while she was in a nursing home. I sat in the office and we spoke about what needed to be done and I was told that I would need to get information together in order for them to hold until I returned as they said I would need to do that if they were to do anything to file the taxes. We came to an agreement that they would do the taxes for $75 per return for 4 returns. I wrote a check and never got back to them because I had issues with my mom and couldn't get back to the taxes. In the interim my husband passed away that May 2017 and in June 2017 my mom passed as well. In October 2018 they cashed the check that I wrote to hold until the taxes were completed, the check was written in March 2016. I had called them at least 4 times and talked with the receptionist who knew nothing, told me she would get back to me and never did each time. I have not seen a tax return nor have I gotten any information from the IRS stating the tax returns had been processed. How could they take money when they didn't perform the function? I was told my consultation would be at no charge due to them knowing my brother.The fact that they take funds from people and they don't do what they say they are going to do is a total injustice. I have since contacted my attorney on this matter to see where we can go with this. Short of going to their bank (which I am hoping is the same one the routing number reads on the back of my cashed check) or filing in small claims court, this just throws me for a loop. I suggest if you want to keep your money in your pocket to find a reputable accounting firm. I know they have been in business for a very long time but the look of the office in general it's a wonder they can find anything, it's such a mess....
