This company cannot be trusted.They came to pick up my front screen door to replace a broken hinge. All was great. The tech was courteous and knocked to let us know he was removing the door. When they brought the door back, however, they installed it without even letting us know (even though we were home). When we saw it, there was a noticeable gash/rip in our door, which we were not even able to discuss with the tech because he left without knocking or ringing bell. I called and spoke to Nick about the situation and he claimed that the door already had the rip, that the technician had logged it (as if that is proof) and that we ripped it. I explained that there were 5 adults that had seen the door just a few days before (there are 3 adults in my home and my landlady and husband came to inspect it because we told her about the hinge) and that the day the tech came to get it, someone opened the door and saw it (without the noticeable rip). He still refused to take our word for it, basically calling us all liars. It was only after I put in a claim with the BBB complaining that they weren't even willing to investigate, did I get a text asking for photos of the door and that they would talk to their technician. After a few days, Mark ("the boss") showed up. Not sure why he wasted our time or his as we simply went over again what we know to be true and he simply did not believe us and refused to take responsibility. Our perspective is that this business cannot be trusted. It is normal for accidents to happen once in a while and for something to get damaged, but it is not an accident to treat customers like this - and repeat customers to boot (my landlady has used them multiple times). Their attitude and unwillingness to give us the benefit of the doubt (related to a very cheap repair job), is unacceptable business practices. Imagine if it had been a significant damage to someone's property that they themselves could not fix! Thus, I felt compelled to share our experience so others know what they may get if they call Martin's for a "repair." They may do the repair, but if they damage anything in the process, there is a good chance they will deny it...

I had a sliding door screen replaced. I brought the old screen in and they built a new replacement. It has been a month since I bought the new screen and it still looks and works great. It cost more than I expected but what do I know about screens
