I walked in the door at 1:29 ready for a 1:30 Reemployment class. Signed in and ready to go at 1:30. After standing there waiting for three minutes the receptionist or whoever the lady sitting at the desk is, went to the back room to tell Stephanie I was there. Stephanie comes out and instantly says we start these meetings at 1:30. You are late and would typically have to reschedule but since you are the only one here for the class, we can basically make an exception. I WAS THERE ON TIME! I am sick and tired of these state employees thinking they are some sort of authority and think they are better than me! You are NOT! I have been with the same employer for 20+ years and seasonal employment is very common in Michigan. If you are actually looking for a job and need to be re-employed, some of the information in the videos during this class could be useful... As far as the actual employees that work there. This is the second or third time they have given me a bad first impression.
