I attended a meeting there. It is helpful but not even necessary for these places to exist. It is a waste of tax payers money. I am unemployed and am drawing my unemployment . I can find my own job. These places say they can help but never have in my experience. Take for example the workforce center in Virginia and Hibbing minnesota. I went to both of these places many times in the past and they never got me a job. I did. They never did anything for me but let me look at a bunch of job postings. Thats why I find these places useless. Maybe things are different for the most part in central mn. But I got fired for a double inguinial hernia and I am having difficulty accepting that I cannot work in a fast paced hard type body and mind job any longer. I am using my unemployment money to fix my vehicle to put insurance on it and tabs then I can look alot harder for work.
