These folks are terrific. They cost less than other tax preparers and they have rare communication skills. They answer their phones. They send out materials promptly. My tax preparer in prior years, part owner Susan Toleffson was great but she never wanted to meet in person. This current change of ownership is exceptionally personable, kind, and patient and that's why I don't mind driving out from San Francisco in heavy traffic to meet with them. They listen, they advise, they recommend and I never feel criticized or judged. It's a great way to do business, in fact they operate their business like I operate my organizing business-- with exceptional care and attention to the client! Recently switched to Neeka and I highly recommend them! My last CPA was unresponsive, disorganized, and made several mistakes making it necessary to switch companies. Despite it being in the middle of the busy tax season, Neeka was able to take my case and complete it so quickly. They have a straightforward online portal but whenever I emailed them with questions they responded that same day. My taxes were filed early and they amended the errors on my previous year's taxes so that I received even more on my return- didn't know that was even possible! I can't be happier with my experience and wish I switched sooner.
