The worst ever. Paid him for a service contract that he himself said 2 weeks after we paid him that he didn’t want to service our unit anymore and would return our money. He never did. He’s a scam artist.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I mistakenly used them to service the generator on my motorhome after experiencing a hard to start situation. After about 20 minutes of testing, their service technician Dave told me that he found my problem but was not able to repair it as he didn't have the part with him. He suggested that I go buy the part and replace it myself, which I did. However after replacing the part the generator still does not operate properly. I've tried calling Roy, the owner of New York Electric Company, numerous times and he has yet to return any of my calls. So right now I am without a generator and I am also out the $180 which I paid to his service technician for his lousy work.

Tech came to service generator, opened a circuit panel, improperly rested the panel on the edge of unit cause two wires to connect. Resulted in a surge of large amounts of electricity sent back into the home blowing out numerous switches and outlets that needed replacement after, very lucky no fire was started. Owner Roy refused to take responsibility for the mistake, Blaming Kohler the generator company. He refused to put a claim into his insurances either, and would not return phone calls.
